2021 ULI Boston Pathways to Inclusion Application
The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a nonprofit education and research institute supported by its members. The mission of the Urban Land Institute: Shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide. Established in 1936, the institute has more than 40,000 members worldwide representing all aspects of land use and development disciplines.
The Pathways to Inclusion Initiative is designed to broaden ULI membership and expand the professional networks of minority developers and land use professionals.
In addition to a one-year ULI membership, the Pathways to Inclusion program will provide up to 20 individuals of color a scholarship to the 2021 Fall Meeting to be held both in-person and virtually October 11 - 14, 2021 in Chicago. This is a value of more than $3,600. After the conclusion of the Fall Meeting, the program will provide four cohort convenings during the one-year program to create structured connections to key Boston real estate leaders.
Eligible Participants: The Pathways to Inclusion initiative is designed to increase participation of groups who are underrepresented in the land use and real estate fields, defined as being African American/African descent, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American, Middle Eastern, and Asian descent. Pathways Applicants must live in New England and be able to attend the Fall Meeting (October 11 - 14, 2020). While registration will be provided for in-person and remote attendees, travel expenses and arrangements are not included.
