ULI Toronto - Demographic and Professional Experience Survey

In Fall 2019, ULI Toronto established the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Task Force, which became the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Committee; a Committee aimed at addressing inequities in and around the city building industry. The formation of this committee could not have come at a moment too soon.

We are committed to addressing the systemic inequities in our industry and in our cities but before we can start, we need to listen and we need to learn from you.

To advance this important exercise, we are asking all ULI Toronto members and non-members to voluntarily complete this anonymous demographic and professional experience survey.  The data gathered in this survey will be used to track our performance as an organization and will be used as benchmarks for us to measure progress, identify trends and make data-based decisions on programs, initiatives and strategies. The data submitted will be collected and collated in aggregate format with the intention to safeguard respondents’ privacy and will never be reported at the individual respondent level.

This survey is the first step to better understanding who you are and your own experiences in our industry in order to begin to have those often uncomfortable, but necessary, conversations around equity, diversity and inclusion. Only after listening to you, can we begin the work of providing leadership and developing programming and initiatives that better respond to your needs and aspirations, and to push our industry to do better.

Please help us make 2021 a year that truly advances our collective goals to build a more equitable, diverse and inclusive industry and urban region.

Please note: this survey will take approximately 7-8 minutes to complete.
